Marilyn Monroe is an Icon

Real Women, are beautiful – I get so tired of people thinking that fashion models and people who have their bones sticking out is sexy! It really bothers me! I’ve worked extremely hard for the body I have, and I’m happy! I see these beautiful women who are beautiful inside and out and because they have curves and don’t look like the people from the magazines they don’t feel worthy! I disagree! I think you are beautiful! You are beautiful inside and out!

I came across this picture of Marilyn Monroe in a bathing suit, she is an Icon for Sexy back in the day! How would she be perceived now? Would she be plus size? Would she be considered fat? I think she is beautiful!

Marilyn Monroe

As I lay her in bed thinking about life I began to be dismayed with my body and the progress I have made. I’m not thin, I don’t have the perfect stomach or amazing arms like they have on the magazines. I have stretch marks and extra skin.

I hate the way people perceive woman and how woman need to be super skinny to be attractive. This is one of the most beautiful pictures I have found in a long time. I love Marilyn Monroe and always thought she was super beautiful and classy.

I knew she was a little bigger from the normal but man I didn’t realize how amazing her body was. It’s not perfect, her body is normal! She’s beautiful and she’s got flaws like everyone does. This beautiful woman was one of the most iconic and beautiful woman of all time.

For me having little girls and being a girl I know realize it’s okay. My body may not be perfect, but you know what it’s far better than it has been in a long time. It’s healthier too!

I can’t believe how much perspective I got from this photo. I wanted to share this as an inspiration. Be beautiful girls!!!

Great Quote:
“Be confident in the skin you are in, because that is the only body you will ever have, the only place that will ever be solely yours. Even if you will never be as skinny as those super models, or the beauty who makes everyone star, you can be beautiful in your own way. And you have to accept that, and own it” – Deejae Harper

When did super skinny and fragile become hotter than someone with curves and an actual body shape???

Real women are meant to be curvy, real women are also slender, muscular, chubby, skinny, voluptuous, and shapely.

We’re all real Women! We are all Woman, so deal with it!!!
